Eylandt Reserve

Eylandt is a reserve release available in standard 750mL and magnum 1.5L bottles. The wine is made only in the finest of years from the best parcels of fruit. It enjoys extended skin and lees contact, partial old barrel fermentation, is unfined and vegan friendly, with minimal sulphites added at bottling for preservation. It is made to be a pure expression of Tasmanian Riesling capable of extended ageing.

Eylandt – meaning island – is taken from the journal of Abel Tasman when he sighted lutruwita/Tasmania in 1642. The wine is dry, textural and elegant; it is a unique representation of the finest Riesling that can only be grown and made on this island.

2017, made Dry, is available as a limited museum release of just 60 magnums.

2021 is the current release and the season dictated we make an Off-Dry style. The ferment was stopped early to retain natural grape sugars, balancing exceptional acid structure. It is available now online, in 750mL bottles and a limited run of 30 hand-bottled magnums.
